Truly Khana is Indian food made with intention. Thoughtfully sourced ingredients. Balanced spice blends. Recipes respected, not rushed.

Meet our founders

We’re twins, born in Australia, raised between two cultures. Indian at home. Australian everywhere else. Food was always the bridge.

 

Our grandmother never measured her curries. She didn’t need to. The recipes lived in instinct, in memory. We didn’t realise it was craft until we were older.

 

Our parents built hospitality businesses from the ground up. Saturday mornings meant early starts, prepping, learning what it takes to serve people well.

 

Those lessons, and those recipes, travelled from her kitchen to our mum’s and now to ours.

 

Truly Khana honours that lineage. Not by replicating the past. By building something worthy of it.

  • When do I need to place my order?

    Orders must be placed before Thursday, 11:59 PM for Sunday delivery.

    ​Is there a minimum order?

    No, there is no minimum order. 

  • Where do you deliver?

    We currently deliver to the Eastern Suburbs. 

    Do I need to be home for delivery?

    Yes. Someone needs to be available to accept your order during your delivery window.

    What time will my order arrive?

    Deliveries take place between 9AM and 11AM. 

    Do I need to provide delivery instructions?

    Yes. Please include clear delivery instructions at checkout to help us deliver your order smoothly.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept all major credit and debit cards. Digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay can also be enabled.

  • How are the meals delivered?

    All meals are transported in insulated bags to maintain freshness during delivery. Orders must be collected immediately upon arrival.

    How long do meals last?

    Meals will last up to 4 days in the fridge. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months.

    Are the meals fresh or frozen?

    All meals are freshly prepared. You can refrigerate them or freeze them, depending on when you plan to eat them.

    How do I heat the meals?

    Each meal comes with simple heating instructions and can be heated using either a microwave or stovetop. Our main meals and side items are delivered fresh and ready to heat.

    The samosas (entrée) are delivered frozen. For best results, you can heat them in the oven, air fryer, or fry them until crispy and heated through.
